Export reading statistics as HTML?

I was able to find my reading statistics in .lua text files, and they're somewhat readable, but it'd be awesome to be able to export as HTML like you can with highlights and annotations.

Does anyone know how to export the stats as HTML? Or, at the very least, how to convert .lua text to HTML? My googling came up empty. :help:

The new icons make everything look so much nicer!! Thanks to everybody who put in the hard work!! Loving KOReader and never exit it anymore!

Quick question... did the warmth settings change recently? I noticed last night around midnight that my Clara was cooler lit than expected. Went to the settings and changed the max warmth from 8pm to midnight and it got much warmer. Did something change in the algorithm for when to return to cooler color temps? It seems that it should stay at max for at least 6 to 8 hours. (Maybe that could be its own setting)

Say you have a CSS file like this:

Is it normal that text that uses StyleA does not receive any formating, while with StyleB it does? (See sample epub)

Library search

Dear Koreader users and developers,
I started using Koreader about a year ago, when I got myself a Likebook Ares. Initially, I had some problems adjusting to the way Koreader deals with my fairly large library, but finally I found a way to use it to my satisfaction, with a combination of search using calibre metadata and tags defined with calibre before sending to the device.
This stopped working some days ago, and since the device had a system update, I used this opportunity to upgrade the whole system, so now I am finally using the latest Koreader version, 2021-01 again. There are many nice changes and the wireless calibre connection works wonderfully.
However, when I start using the "Find a book via calibre metadata" function as before, the system will hang for a while (which is not surprising, even before it would take a while to load the library after a fresh start of the program), but then finally crash.
So I have no idea what is wrong and how to fix it and am without the ability to use the search function! This makes it very difficult to go to a different book.
Is there any way I can solve this problem, or shed light on where things go wrong? Any help appreciated.

Double tap doesn't work properly

I've noticed, even form the previous version, that double tap on the upper corners performs the function that I have set for double tap on the sides. Double tap on the sides doesn't seem to work.

Any idea? Thanks!

Lately, when I switch on my Pocketbook e-reader, I find in the main menu –where the last opened and new added books are displayed– the KOReader crash.log file, as the last file opened. Looking at it, I find new records every day.

Here are some screenshots. Do you have any idea what's going on?

totally unbound carriage return with text alignement to the left

Q about submitting fixes to crengine

I've fixed a problem with the 12/24 hour clock setting on crengine, which required change to the crengine C++ code. Is my understanding correct that you have to submit the change all of the way back to the upstream on SourceForge?

KOReader Calibre Search Adjustment

When I try KOReader Calibre Search to use tags or series metadata, the search button prompts the use of the internal memory as search drive/directory.

However, my Calibre library is on a (card drive)\Calibre directory on my external SD card.

How can I change that setting so it will search on my external SD card?

Hello, I'm new to the forum!

First of all, I got a Pocketbook Touch Lux 5 - PB628 device for christmas, and it was a nice upgrade after my 7th gen PW3. I installed Koreader because I was curious, and I only read using that. However, the screensaver function would be nice to have, and I set it up according to the wiki.https://github.com/koreader/koreader/wiki/Coverimage
I use the latest stable version, and tried it on the nightly too. The problem is this: Koreader creates the "cover.bmp" file in correct resolution, but won't render it using grayscale, so it won't be used by the system, instead, the default one. Can anyone help, please? :thanks:

Translating KOReader, I find some text/options that I can't find on KOReader.

For example:
  • "Reference pages", "Source (book hardcopy edition) of reference page numbers"
  • "Auto frontlight"

Could anyone help?

Wiktionary Integration with Koreader

Dear all,

There are livio dictionary apps, which have their database from wiktionary, and are lightweight (or look up dictionary that connects to livio and shows in popup) . Unfortunately, koreader doesn't work with it. Is it possible to integrate a 3rd party android app with koreader Android version? If not how can I suggest it to developers? Also sharing the dictionary lookup history wihh an anki kind of app, would also be great.

So: I'm a huge fan of Beeline reader (and its FOSS version), and was wondering if anything like it exists/could be made for the KOReader.

Maybe different gradient tones for every line?

In "Book Status" there is an option "On hold" at the bottom. What's the usefulness of this option?
I think this would be useful if there was an overall display of "On hold" books such as "Favorites" or "History".

How to slow down continuous scrolling in Android?

I am using KOReader 2021.02 from F-Droid on Android 11. The book I am trying to read is 363 pages. With continuous scrolling, I find that a short swipe scrolls the document by a short amount. However, if I keep my finger on the screen the document continues to scroll. It scrolls pretty quickly as well.

Is there any way to slow this down? Ideally, I would like scrolling to work like it does in most Android applications where the amount of scroll is equal to the amount I move my finger (so when my finger is still, there is no scrolling). I have hunted through all the settings but not found anything that looks like the right setting.

Zip support question

Every time I try to open a zipped file on Android Koreader says it has no rendering engine for that file. I would expect koreader to show me preview of the archive first, but It looks like Koreader is treating it, as a single ebook file. Ok, so then I decided to test, if it opens with a single epub file inside. To no avail. Am i doing somethin wrong? Does it depend on the compression method used? Koreader wiki says it supports Zip format., but does not say anything beyond that.
