Hi,
after installing the KOReader on my Clara the My Books folder became a joint KFMon Log/My Books folder. First it looks ridiculous and second inside the folder are 15 pages of all files from the KFMon or KOReader directory beside my books. How do i fix this?

how to remove the annoying original pagebreaks from an epub?
So I have an epub that seems to have this
every page the book was originally printed for. You can see attachments. It prints the original page number on the right margin and it gets annoying after awhile.
Questions:
Is there any way to disable that behavior via a built-in tweak somehow? Or must I create a css rule to selector out every epub:type="pagebreak" and disable it? I already tried using the tweak disable publisher pagebreaks as well as disable publisher styling and I still see this. I also tried using different layout options on the bottom menu (web/static/book/etc).
If I must create a book specific tweak, how do I write a rule that would disable this behavior? And do people just do this on their kindle? Or they typically ssh in and drop the rule in some koreader folder?
Code:
<span> epub:type="pagebreak"

offline translator
Hello,
I was using koreader on my android and the first time I was looking to translate a sentence, this message pop-up:
"Do you want to turn on Wi-Fi?"
So my initial response was to press "turn on" and I was pleasantly surprised to see how quick and well integrated was the online translator with the koreader and how nice it looked on the eink screen.
Then, when I was not able to connect to the internet, I tried to use the offline google translator app I have installed, so this time I pressed "cancel" instead of "turn on" and... nothing happened. I realized that there is not a direct option for bringing up an offline translator, so after some exploration I managed to bring it up by choosing the "share" option instead of the "translate" one...but it wasn't the same, it did not pop up but opened a whole new window, load relatively slowly and didn't look sharp on the eink screen.
The offline translator worked fine but I miss the overall speed, look and integration from the koreader's default (online only) translator. I know I can just keep the wifi on but more than less I find myself unable to connect to the internet.
So my question is:
what can I do/modify in order to get the default translator working offline? and/or what can I do/modify in order to get my offline google translator integrated/working similarly to the default one?
Any help is much appreciated.

Favorites
I just recently updated my Kobo Clara to to latest KOReader. I forget what version was there before, maybe from a year ago or so. My goodness!!! is all I can say about how much customization has been added! It's awesome!
I just discovered Favorites which probably has been there for while. Anyway, I see that after I add a book to Favorites it shows at the end of the list. While in Favorites, I can long press a book and select "Sort" and move the book around.
My question, is there an option set Favorites to sort alphabetically automatically like in the File Manager (numbers first then letters)? I'm not able to find a setting. If not, is this something that could be added?
The Clara is small, and I really, really, like a 7-inch screen. I have been using my Kindle Oasis 3 this past year (it can't have KOReader on it because no way to jailbreak, ugh!). I have a "collection" on the Oasis for "currently reading" books, and the books list alphabetically in that collection. Favorites in KOReader seemed like a good equivalent.
And because KOReader is simply the best, I have ordered a Kobo Libra H2O so I can have the 7-inch screen and KOReader!
Thank you so much!

How to get Koreader to display edge-to-edge image?
After trying a lot of epub reader apps, there's nothing else I like more than Koreader, but I have one issue with it. I can't get full-page images to show up like they do in Neoreader, Onyx Boox's built-in reader, as well as in Moon Reader+. Even with images that has width & height at 100%, and at individual pages with 0 margin/padding specified by css.
Here's a pic showing what I mean, v2020.06 on Nova Pro.

Does anyone know a way (through settings or user style tweaks) to get Koreader to display the images edge-to-edge like the other apps mentioned?

Problem opening epubs with embedded fonts in latest nightlies
Hi, I just tried opening some books that contain embedded fonts in a recent nightly build (v2020.06-45) and get a segmentation fault. Here's the error from the crashlog:
I tried updating to the latest nightly (v2020.06-58) and it still has the same problem. If I run the epub through Calibre and remove the embedded font it works fine. I downgraded to the latest release and it also loads the epub with the embedded fonts fine. Has a recent change broken something?
BTW, what's the best place to report these kinds of problems in nightlies? Here or on github somewhere? Is there any more info I can provide?

Missing texts on the weblate localization page
Hi,
I'am translating the KOReader to Hungarian.
The following strings cannot be found on the weblate page:
On Bookmarks page:

Make bookmark after system languagae set is Magyar:
216. oldal in "Chapter name"
The problem is the "in" word! See screenshot.

I can't find any strings... See screenshot.

Where is located "defaults.persistent.lua" in Android
I want to change dictionary path to default one in "defaults.persistent.lua" as documented here. However, my Poke 2 KOreader does not contain that file inside koreader folder.
A search here for "defaults.persistent.lua" returns nothing, and I was not able to find where to put that file and internal format file. "settings" folder? KOreader root folder? What is the file format? Plain text?
PS: KOreader documentation is not very useful because lacks this kind of things. In one part it says you can modify "defaults.persistent.lua" but then don't explain where that file is and what format is or offers a sample file or installation comes with an empty sample file. It is not easy to make this program run for a luser like me, even more difficult if thinks like that aren't explained enough.

Books not saving from ODPS catalogue in Kobo Libra
Hi,
I installed KOReader on my Kobo Libra via the "one click" install process. It works well, however when I try to download books from an ODPS catalogue (e.g. Gutenberg). Each server that I tried tried to download a file, but ended with a message like that: "Could not save <name-of-the-file> in <folder>".
I tried with Vlasovsoft ODPS also, but it just says "Error". I'd really like to be able to use this, since it's a great feature, that I feel I'm missing.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Connecting to mesh network
We upgraded to a Google Nest WiFi system over the weekend (jury's still out as to whether "upgrade" is the right word, but still) and I'm finding that KOReader can't connect to the new mesh network. It sees each of the three mesh points as three networks (each with the same SSID) instead of one, and if I try connecting to one it doesn't really work. If I drop out of KOReader and connect to the network using Nickel it works, and I can then start KOReader and check for updates etc., but it's annoying not being able to do it from inside KOReader. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Can KOreader installed in a Kobo Forma follow links inside pdf's?
Hi, I want to buy a new ereader to read mainly pdf's and I need to know if I install KOreader in a kobo forma I can follow the links inside a pdf, it is not clear from the documentation of KOreader, by example, in the documentation it can be read that KOreader follow EPUB hyperlinks, however it doesn't says something about pdf's. However using an appimage (in ubuntu) of KOreader and opening a pdf I can follow the hyperlinks, so it is not clear if I could do the same in a kobo forma.
Also I would like to know if KOreader have a function to come back to the previous page after you jumped to some other page using an hyperlink.
Can someone clarify these questions? Thank you in advance.
