I am using Koreader 2025.04 on a kindle PW4.
I have recently started using the "custom hidden flows" feature. As I read a lot of non-fiction, often with long sections of footnotes, bibliography, etc, I find this a very useful feature.
However, one issue I have noticed is the "normal" status bar and the alt status bar aren't consistent in the way they handle custom hidden flows.
For the status bar (at the bottom of the page), items are updated to reflect hidden flows, but for the alt status bar (at the top of the page), they are not.
For example, any status bar item that shows the total pages in the book shows the reduced length if I define a hidden flow, but the total pages in the alt status bar is not updated for a hidden flow (it shows the same total book length regardless of custom hidden flows). Is this intentional?
